Clara AI is UhAI's conversational healthcare assistant, designed to be the first, friendly point of contact between a patient and the healthcare system. Rather than replacing a doctor, Clara helps patients understand what they're experiencing, offers relevant health education, and provides supportive guidance on next steps.
Under the hood, Clara combines natural language processing with structured medical knowledge, allowing her to ask clarifying questions much like a triage nurse would: intensity, duration, associated symptoms, before offering guidance. Every interaction is designed to encourage appropriate care-seeking behavior, not to replace professional diagnosis.
As Clara's language capabilities expand, our goal is for her to eventually communicate fluently in multiple African languages, meeting patients where they are, linguistically and technologically.
